Website Progress Report!

Website Status - 29th August 2025
Well, this has almost become a full time job. I've been at it morning, noon and night - but I finally feel like I'm getting there at last!
In the last 24 hours I've trawled through absolutely everything on the market above £300,000, whether old, new, or relaunched, and I've made sure every one has been listed. 173 of these properties are listed as individual property posts, but 126 properties are still in digest lists as follows:
- £301 to £400k - 38
- £401 to £500k - 33
- £501k to £600k - 28
- £601k to £700k - 14
- over £1m - 13
These digests will stay online until all the properties have been added individually. I will chip away at them bit by bit.
What's next?
Although I've been adding occasional properties in the lowest price section, £300,000 and below, I haven't completed a full trawl yet. I will try to knock that on the head this weekend. The market has definitely slowed down lately, which is helping me to catch up, although I'm nervous that there may be a 'back to school' surge ahead!

Too many emails?
The number of emails is settling down now as I am only emailing out new or relaunched properties. If it's still too much:
- You have the option to unsubscribe from emails (whilst retaining full access to the website). You can easily re-subscribe later.
- Or you could set up your emails to funnel all Canalside Homes posts into their own folder and look at them when you're in the mood!
Subscribing to a sub-list
Whilst this is now technically possible, for the time being I am concentrating on getting all the properties listed. I hope to look at this feature later.
Advertising
I have updated the information about advertising on the website to reflect these changes. There is now just one type of advertising: Sponsoring a property to make it public, which allows you to add more details and photos, and reach more people on the mailing list.
