- This property was unsold at auction in July, and is still available for sale. I'm not surprised. The area looks completely overgrown. There is a lot of scrubland around the area, which is surrounded by former coal mines. The gardens are large but they run behind industrial units - not exactly picturesque. When you look at Streetview, the house next door has no roof (see below). Let's hope it isn't still like that! And there are no internal photos - I dread to think! A total project.
- Canal aspect: The property is on the towpath side of the Dudley No 2 Canal beside Blackbrook Bridge. It is not particularly historic - I guess it was built sometime between 1914 and 1938.
