Why I've decided to close

Lately I have been struggling with my motivation to continue with Canalside Homes, and I have been increasingly despondent about making it flourish.  It is only ever going to be a small specialist niche, so it's hard to make it financially viable. It is also totally dependent on me continuing full-time.

I tried placing some ads on Facebook, but I received quite a bit of backlash and no new subscribers. Then someone commented, "Website is a con. Nothing different to what I can find on Rightmove." It was the final straw.

I have now made the difficult decision to close Canalside Homes down. This is undoubtedly the best time to do it, because I have had a lot of cancellations over the last few weeks anyway, as people have paused their house hunting for the winter. I've been working just as hard, for less money!

Thank you all for your amazing support, I wouldn't have got this far without you.
