- Canal aspect: I wouldn't normally include one like this as you can't see the canal from the house, but I'm a sucker for a project, and I can imagine creating a seating area at the bottom of the garden from which to look down on the canal and enjoy the birds singing in the trees. The agent describes the garden as a "very mature overgrown garden" which backs onto the offside of the Tame Valley Canal, part of the BCN. This does not look at all suitable for mooring as there is a steep wooded bank leading down to the canal, and I don't even expect this bank to be within the property's curtilage.
